About MG Chimney Repair, Naperville chimney specialists

A local chimney service that spends its days on Naperville roofs and in front of Naperville fireplaces, and nowhere else in the house.

Local, focused on chimneys, open every day

MG Chimney Repair is a chimney service based in Naperville, Illinois. We do four things: we repair chimneys, we sweep them, we inspect them and we clean them, for homes in Naperville and the DuPage, Will and Kane County towns around it.

The work is as varied as the houses here. Some chimneys need a new crown or a wide lid over several flues, a woodstove may need a fresh gasket or a catalytic combustor, and older brick calls for a gentle sweep that leaves its fragile mortar alone.

We keep the job straightforward. We look at the whole chimney, photograph what we find, explain it in plain language and put any repair in writing before it starts. And we answer the phone every day of the week, from 7 in the morning to 9 at night.

Four steps on every visit

The same order every time, so you always know where the job stands.

We look first
We listen to what you have noticed, then check the chimney from the firebox to the cap before recommending anything.
We show you
Photos of what we found and a written scope before work starts. If something can wait, we tell you it can wait.
We work clean
Drop cloths before tools, a HEPA-filtered vacuum while we work and a clean hearth when we leave.
We check it after
A last look at the draft, the damper and the cap before we pack up, so the fireplace is ready to use.
